Modelio, new modeling tool and successor of Objecteering
Paris, April 30th 2009, Modeliosoft and Objecteering Software are pleased to announce the convergence of two modeling tools, Modelio and Objecteering.
Modelio is a new generation of modeling tool, providing the best ergonomy for the most efficient system and application modeling. Modelio adapts to all your needs, and can support UML2, BPMN and Enterprise Architecture in a single repository.
Simple and productive, exhaustive and efficient, Modelio significantly increases the benefits of software and system modeling.
Modelio is an extendable tool, perfect for collaborative and distributed model driven teamwork via the internet. Modelio includes an integrated version management tool based on SVN Subversion and a wide range of services for model-driven development (MDA).
Objecteering has supported the UML standard since 1998, and is renowned for its modeling, teamwork and model-driven development capacities. Modelio’s architecture, based on the Eclipse RCP standard, includes all the key features of Objecteering’s architecture, and models developed in Objecteering can be opened and worked on in Modelio. In the future, Objecteering users will be able to convert their Objecteering licenses to Modelio licenses.
Objecteering Software is the official distributor of Modelio in France and throughout Europe. Distribution of Objecteering and its future developments is also maintained.
Modelio is available in the following editions:
